This week’s Beauty product of the week is Eye Bright Soothing Eye Lotion by Liz Earle, a soothing eye lotion that gives visibly noticeable results, a proper friend to any yummy mummy and an essential piece of kit to keep those pretty peepers looking bright and wide.
Now I know that since I have had children I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my “bags” Sadly they have definitely become more prominent and darker over recent years and I guess that’s not really surprising due to the huge lack of sleep that is inevitable with the arrival of my two beautiful babies, ok – they’re not really babies any more but they’ll always be mine! Another thing that has happened is that more recently I have been suffering from dry skin around my eyes – not something that has ever happened to me before, and so on recommendation I tried Eye Bright by Liz Earle. Amazingly and truthfully, my eyes did feel instantly fresher, the whole eye area was visibly smoother, my eyes felt clearer and my eyelids felt soft and clean without feeling the slightest bit tight or dry, and within days my dry eyelids and under eye area have transformed to their previous self, which has made me one happy girl. This product is a definite “must have” for the days when you feel exhausted before you’ve even started, or the nights when you are just plain shattered and you need a little eye attention – just squeeze a little onto a couple of cotton wool pads and leave it to work its magic for 5-10 minutes, it will calm down that tired eye feeling and remove any traces of makeup that sometimes remain after cleansing, leaving you ready for the blissful and hopefully uninterrupted night’s sleep that will refresh you, ready for the next busy day ahead.
I bought my Eyebright from John Lewis in Kingston, and at £10.50 to me was a bargain as it restored my eyes to their former self. You can also buy it online – http://uk.lizearle.com/
