When I started work on funkymothers.com it was always my intention to create some grown up events for of us locals, so that we could get together and have fun in a more adult environment, remembering those partying and clubbing days that sometimes seem so much in the past.   For all of you that attended The Teddington Arms on Saturday night for the first party of Growing Old Disgracefully Society (or The GODS for short)  I have to say a big thank you!   What a laugh we all had….. and what great fun you all were.   The Teddington Arms  http://www.teddingtonarms.com/ had a full house and everyone was on great form, the dance floor was rocking and I must say what a load of funky mothers you people are out there 😉  We’ll definitely be running another at the end of June and I’ll be posting more details very soon.  If you want to catch a glimpse of our party night, have a look at the GODS website www.growingolddisgracefullysocietysociety.com  for some fabulous images courtesy of our wonderful photographer on the night – James Bell http://www.jamesbellphoto.com/
