Eco Tales Ecotales Film Festival, now with a very special guest – Sir David Attenborough!

Do you have a budding film maker in your family who is aged 18 or under?  Do they have a story to tell?  If so why not help them enter the Environmental Film Challenge with Eco Tales, what an excellent Easter holiday activity?  Using story telling, film making and other artistic pursuits, Eco Tales is building a campaign to make us all more aware about the major issues and implications of plastic pollution and how it is affecting the world we live in.   The Eco Tales website is full of information about the negative effects of plastic pollution and is really worth a read through, I am quite astounded about what I have learned.  http://ecotales.co.uk/
Making the whole topic accessible to our kids has been wonderfully bridged by the short film posted below – Gloop.  The Eco Tales Festival for 2013 is based around this film and Eco Tales are working alongside schools in Richmond Borough to create a magical sound and sculpture trail leading to this event on 5th May 2013.

For more information about how you can get involved in this worthy and essential cause please visit the Eco Tales website http://ecotales.co.uk/   You will also find all the information there about entering the film making competition – it could be an excellent activity for February’s half term 😉
